Greening Homes and Businesses in South Ribble

If you would like to reduce your energy consumption and save money on your energy bills, our Greening Homes and Businesses in South Ribble Event is taking place at the Civic Centre, Leyland on the Friday 29th September.

The event is free to all South Ribble based businesses and will be a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the local innovative measures available to help reduce your energy bills and your carbon footprint!

South Ribble Borough Council, in conjunction with the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) and North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, invite you to discover the benefits of trading Internationally. Whether you are new to exporting or already exporting and want to grow your business come and discuss what helps is available . We are there to help you discover International Markets and new audiences to Increase sales for your business. Help you expand your audience and company's reach and drive growth through exporting.

Exporting can be profitable for businesses of all sizes. On average, sales grow faster, more jobs are created, and employees earn more than in non-exporting firms. The United Kingdom is known worldwide for high quality, innovative goods and services, customer service, and sound business practices.

During the morning we will hear from Lancashire based Export Champions on how exporting has helped their business.

Marketing Lancashire Taking England to the World Workshop 21st November 2023

Marketing Lancashire is working with VisitEngland to offer partners a free market-leading Taking England to the World training session.

Led by industry experts, the one-day face-to-face course is designed to help you reach new international and domestic audiences.  Covering topics ranging from product development, pricing and distribution to marketing and content creation, you’ll come away armed with practical tips to attract new global customers and grow your business.

World Menopause Day is on Wednesday 18th October

The purpose of the day is to raise awareness of the menopause and the support options available for improving health and wellbeing. Lancashire Adult Learning are pleased to be hosting a free online event on the day:
