Construction company The Eric Wright Group, based in Leyland, has announced that it will once again be the main sponsor for Rosemere Cancer Foundation’s Valentine’s Appeal.

Eric Wright Group has donated £1,500 to the charity, which will helps Rosemere stage its Valentine’s Concert as well as a number of other fundraising activities throughout February as part of the charity’s annual Valentine’s Appeal.

The Valentine’s Appeal, now in its fourth year, is a month-long campaign dedicated to raising awareness and vital funds for the Rosemere Cancer Foundation, a charity that helps cancer patients going through treatment in Lancashire and South Cumbria. This year the charity is aiming to raise £50,000 through a variety of events and initiatives.

The highlight of the appeal is the Valentine’s Concert by Candlelight, set within the dramatic surroundings of Blackburn Cathedral. This year it will be headlined by opera star Camilla Kerslake. She will be supported by The One Voice Choir, The Swing Band from St Christopher’s CE High School in Accrington and solo artist Ben Fourie on French Horn.
